Michael Cole and JBL are shown at ringside wearing old school announcer jackets. They mention that Jerry Lawler is not here tonight because he is feeling under the weather. They plug the WWE App for more details on his condition.
Luke Harper, Erick Rowan & Daniel Bryan vs. The Usos & Rey Mysterio
When we return from RAW, The Usos and Rey Mysterio are shown together in the ring. The lights go out, “we’re here.” The Wyatt Family, including Daniel Bryan in his new gear, all come to the ring together. Harper and Uso start things off for their respective teams. Harper quickly gains control of the offense. Both guys tag out and now Bryan and Mysterio are the legal men. Bryan, with a mean look on his face, is wrestling a more aggressive and vicious style. Mysterio throws Bryan out to the floor next to Bray, who is seated in his rocking chair in the aisle. We head to a mid-match commercial on that note. When we return from commercial, Erick Rowan and Uso are in the ring, with Rowan in control. We get some highlights of action that took place during the commercial, via the WWE App. Rowan tags Bryan back in, who picks up with Uso where Rowan left off. Bryan gets in some offense and then tags Rowan back in. Uso blasts Rowan with a superkick and then tags Mysterio back in. Mysterio comes in and is flying all over the place. Mysterio hits the 6-1-9 on Rowan and tags Uso in. Uso goes to follow up with his top-rope splash but misses. Bryan tags himself in, and then Harper tags himself in. The two stare each other down. Usos and Mysterio end up getting the win, as they rolled the Wyatt member up from behind for the 1-2-3.

Tonight’s Fan’s Choice
Backstage, we are told that Great Khali would face Damien Sandow in one-on-one action tonight. We are informed that there will be a special referee, who will be voted on by the WWE Universe via the WWE App. The options for special ref are Bob Backlund, Arn Anderson and Sgt. Slaughter.
Backstage: Kane & Brad Maddox
Kane and Brad Maddox talk backstage. Kane asks Maddox about what he said about him to The Authority last week. Maddox asks if Kane is going to threaten him with physical violence. Kane says he will not because that would result in his termination. He says if he were to be terminated, however, he would be forced to return as The Monster and he would destroy Maddox.
Backstage: Big E. Langston Runs Into Legends
Backstage, WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E. Langston is shown walking to the ring. He notices Nikolai Volkoff singing the Russian national anthem. As he keeps walking, he sees The Million Dollar Man, who tells him everyone has a price, followed by his evil laugh. Then he runs into Irwin R. Schyster, who tells him he better pay his taxes. Langston smiles the whole time and keeps walking. We head to commercial.
Big E. Langston vs. Curtis Axel
Ryback is out for commentary for this match. Axel goes right to work on Langston with kicks. Langston quickly overpowers him. Ryback talks about being stronger than Langston and Mark Henry on commentary. This is a non-title match, by the way. A “Let’s Go Big E.” chant breaks out as Axel goes to work on Langston on the floor. Langston turns the tide and slams Axel’s head into the old school announce table. Ryback distracts Langston from the commentary booth as the action returns to the ring. It didn’t last for long, however, as within seconds Langston takes the straps down and hits Axel with the “Big Ending.” 1-2-3. Langston wins.

Backstage: Roddy Piper Prepares For The Pit
Backstage, we see “Rowdy” Roddy Piper with an intense look on his face. The Hot Rod heads to the ring as Michael Cole informs us on commentary that his special Piper’s Pit segment with special guests The Shield is up next.
Piper’s Pit With The Shield
When we return from commercial, the bagpipes play and out comes The Hot Rod. Piper says he was old school before old school was cool. A loud “Roddy, Roddy” chant breaks out. Before he can continue to say anything, The Shield’s music hits and they make their way to the ring through the crowd. Dean Ambrose asks who gave “this old man a microphone.” Piper says no one gave him a mic, he took it. He says this is Piper’s Pit, not Ambrose’s Alley. Piper says there’s only one man who can match him on the microphone, and his name is CM Punk. Ambrose gets in Piper’s face until Seth Rollins breaks him up. Rollins tells Piper it’s not 1985 anymore. Rollins says Piper is jealous that Ambrose is a better U.S. Champion than he ever was. Piper tells Rollins and Ambrose that they couldn’t beat Punk one-on-one. Piper pinches Reigns on the cheek and asks him if he beats Punk one-on-one tonight, doesn’t that make him better than them? Piper asks if Ambrose and Rollins are holding Reigns back. Piper keeps referencing there being a “crack in The Shield.” Reigns finally grabs a mic and gets in Piper’s face. Reigns says he’s going to beat Punk tonight and if Piper ever touches him again he’s going to break him in half. Ambrose says they should beat Piper up. All three guys close in on Piper until Punk’s music hits. CM Punk comes out with the New Age Outlaws. All three guys go to work on The Shield, along with Piper. They clear the ring of The Shield. Piper’s music hits as The Shield retreats through the crowd. Punk puts the U.S. Title, which Ambrose left in the ring, across the shoulder of Piper.
Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara
I actually missed the majority of this match. Right when I got back to it, Del Rio hit Sin Cara with a big kick and pinned him for the victory.

After The Match
Alberto Del Rio does a post-match interview in the ring. Del Rio says everyone is talking about Batista entering himself into the 2014 Royal Rumble match. He talks about winning the Rumble in the past and says he’s going to win it again this year.
Backstage: Daniel Bryan & The Wyatt Family
Backstage, we see Daniel Bryan yelling at Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Bryan talks about how he wanted to join the family and how he was a former tag-team chamion, unlike them. He says next week he wants to tag with either Harper or Rowan. Bray Wyatt walks up and says that won’t be necessary, because next week he’ll be teaming with him.
The Real Americans (with Zeb Colter) vs. Goldust & Cody Rhodes
After the aforementioned backstage segment, we see The Real Americans and Zeb Colter already in the ring doing their “we the people” thing. Their music fades, Goldust’s music hits and out he comes with Cody Rhodes. This is a non-title match. Goldust and Jack Swagger and start things off for their respective teams. The action goes back and forth with a lot of tags between both teams. The Real Americans start to take advantage of the offense a bit as we head to a mid-match commercial. When we return from commercial, Swagger has Rhodes in a bear hug. We see footage from the commercial of Antonio Cesaro hitting Rhodes with his Cesaro Swing. Back live, Swagger hits the Vader splash move off the middle rope onto Rhodes. He tags Cesaro in, and Cesaro continues the domination before tagging Swagger back in seconds later. The two are keeping Rhodes in their corner and utilizing quick tags. Rhodes nearly makes it to his corner for the tag, but Cesaro knocks him on the floor so there’s no one there Rhodes. Rhodes goes for the disaster kick but Swagger reverses it into the Patriot Lock. Rhodes tries to escape several times but Swagger keeps it locked in. Goldust eventually comes in to make the save. Goldust finally gets the hot tag. He hits Swagger and Cesaro with a number of moves and then finally finishes them off for the pinfall victory.

Backstage: DDP, Booker T & Ron Simmons
Backstage, we see Diamond Dallas Page smiling and stretching. Booker T walks in and says “tell me I didn’t just see that.” DDP talks about doing DDP Yoga. Booker T says DDP is just trying to get a cheap plug for DDP Yoga. DDP laughs and says he’s right. He demonstrates from of the DDP Yoga techniques for Booker. Booker says he maybe can’t do DDP Yoga but he can do Booker Yoga. He goes to show him some, but says his knee hurts. Ron Simmons walks in. He looks around, pauses and finally lets out a “Damn!”
Fan’s Choice: Damien Sandow vs. The Great Khali
(Special Referee: Sgt. Slaughter)
Before we go to commercial, we’re told that the Fan’s Choice match between Sandow and Khali is up next. Fans can vote for the special referee, with the options being Bob Backlund, Sgt. Slaughter and Arn Anderson. We head to commercial. When we return from commercial, Sandow is already in the ring. Khali comes to the ring with his old manager Singh. JBL reveals the Fan’s Choice poll results. The fans voted for Sgt. Slaughter by an overwhelming 55 percent. Slaughter makes his way to the ring to special guest referee this match. The bell sounds and we overhear Sandow yelling at Slaughter to “stay out of his way.” Khali beats Sandow down into a corner early and stomps him out. Khali picks him up and chops him hard. Khali takes him to the other corner and hits him with another big chop. Sandow starts fighting back with kicks and punches. Khali cuts him short with a back elbow and then clotheslines him down. Khali hits Sandow with a big chop and pins him. 1-2-3. Sandow had his foot on the ropes during Slaughter’s pin.

After The Match
Sandow complains to Slaughter for not noticing his foot being on the ropes during the pin. Sandow makes the mistake of getting physical with Slaughter, so Slaughter gets him in his old Cobra Clutch submission finisher. As he goes to leave, Khali and Singh stop him and ask him to dance around with them. Slaughter hesitates, but eventually does dance around with them.
Backstage: Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman
Backstage, we see Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman making their way to the ring. Michael Cole informs us that following the commercial, Lesnar and Heyman will be coming out to the ring. On that note, we head to commercial.
In-Ring Segment: Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, Mark Henry, Big Show
When we return from commercial, another old school RAW video intro plays, ala the old War Zone (hour two of RAW). Michael Cole and JBL welcome us again to Old School RAW and then Brock Lesnar’s music hits. Out comes Lesnar and Paul Heyman. “Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Paul Heyman,” says Heyman to start things off. Heyman says Brock Lesnar wants him to convey his issues with the phrase old school. Heyman says old school is when one man dominates everyone and someone challenges them. Heyman says Bruno Sammartino was old school. He said Bruno reigned supreme and everyone in the locker room wanted a piece of him. He says that’s old school. He says in addition to Bruno, Lesnar says he also told him that Hulk Hogan was old school. As was “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Heyman says one man reigns supreme today, because there is only one champion. He says whoever walks out of Royal Rumble as that champion, their time is limited because Lesnar is going to beat them. Heyman says there’s nobody in WWE or even mixed-martial-arts or sports of any kind that can challenge Lesnar. He talks about the Olympian Mark Henry challenging him last week and then reminded everyone what Lesnar did to him. As they continue to talk, Mark Henry’s music hits. Henry comes out selling his ribs. Henry goes right after Lesnar with punches in the ring. Lesnar catches Henry in the kimura and breaks his arm in the same fashion that he did Triple H. Heyman tells Lesnar that that’s enough. We see a replay of Lesnar breaking Henry’s arm. As Lesnar and Heyman head to the back, Big Show’s music hits. Big Show comes out. Lesnar slowly backs up. Lesnar slides back into the ring and tells Big Show to come get him. Lesnar threatens Show by pointing to Henry and asking him if he wants the same. Big Show finally decides to come into the ring. When he does, Lesnar jumps out of the ring and heads to the back with Heyman. Heyman jumps on the apron to distract Show. Lesnar slides in from behind and tries to attack Lesnar. Show grabs Lesnar and throws him across the ring. Lesnar ducks out and finally heads to the back with Heyman.
The Bella Twins vs. Aksana & Alicia Fox
The Bella Twins are shown making their way to the ring. They will be squaring off with the duo of Alicia Fox and Aksana in Divas tag-team action. This match was kept pretty short. Decent amount of back-and-forth action with the finish coming when Brie Bella missed a missile dropkick off the middle rope. Aksana immediately covered her and pinned her. 1-2-3. Fox and Aksana win.
Winners: Aksana & Alicia Fox
Backstage: Too Cool
Backstage we see three hands joined together. When the camera pans up, we see it’s Rikishi, Grandmaster Sexy and Scotty 2 Hotty. Michael Cole says it’s time to dance and Too Cool is in action next. On that note, we head to a commercial break.
3MB vs. Too Cool
When we return from commercial, 3MB are shown finishing up their entrance inside the arena. Heath Slater is back, along with Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal. They show a split-screen interview from earlier in the night with Slater talking about how they’re reunited and it feels so good. Too Cool’s music hits and out comes Rikishi, Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty. Michael Cole points out that this is the first time in 13 and a half years that Rikishi, Grandmaster Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty are teaming up for a match on RAW. Jinder Mahal and Grandmaster Sexay kick things off for their respective teams. Sexay beats up Mahal and dances a bit and then tags in Scotty 2 Hotty. Mahal gets Scotty in the corner and tags in McIntyre. McIntyre continues the beat down of Scotty. JBL and Michael Cole bicker like children on commentary until Scotty 2 Hotty sets up The Worm. The crowd does the “W-O-R-M” chant with him and he does his worm. Ahhh, memories. 3MB utilizes some double-team offense to blast Scotty and then McIntyre tags Mahal back in the match. Mahal beats up Scotty a bit and then tags McIntyre back in. McIntyre continues to go to work on Scotty. McIntyre tags Mahal back in and Scotty tags in Rikishi. Rikishi cleans house of all three 3MB members. McIntyre and Mahal double-team Rikishi for a bit but Rikishi double-clotheslines his way out of it. Sexay puts the goggles on and hits his Hip-Hop Drop flying legdrop off the top. Rikishi hits a big butt splash on Mahal and pins him. No stinkface, sorry guys! Too Cool do their trademark dance after the win.

Old School Legends & Bad News Barrett
When we return from commercial, The Godfather’s music hits. The Godfather comes out with all of the old school legends that appeared during Old School RAW tonight. Justin Roberts introduces them one-by-one in the ring. Each got a nice pop and off they went. As they head to the back, Bad News Barrett pops up on his podium next to the stage. He does his typical Bad News Barrett “I’ve got some bad news” speech, and talks about how the world is bad, and blah blah blah.
“Mean” Gene Okerlund, New Age Outlaws
When we return from commercial, “Mean” Gene Okerlund is introduced. He comes out and jokes about his old 900-Hotline. He introduces Road Dogg and Billy Gunn, the New Age Outlaws. Road Dogg does a typical Road Dogg-style promo as he walks to the ring with Gunn. He does his “ladies and gentlemen” speech. Gunn does his “we got two words for ya” speech. Road Dogg introduces CM Punk. Punk makes his way to the ring.
CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
After Road Dogg’s introduction, CM Punk makes his way to the ring. He informs us off-mic that “it’s clobbering time.” Out next comes The Shield. The bell sounds and Roman Reigns immediately goes to work on Punk. Reigns is throwing Punk around like a rag doll early on. Reigns remains in control as we head to a mid-match commercial. When we return from commercial, Reigns is still beating up Punk, however Punk is showing signs of life as he fires some punches back. Reigns throws Punk out to the floor. We see the New Age Outlaws stopping Ambrose and Rollins from capitalizing on Punk on the floor. Michael Cole sets up some WWE App footage of Reigns continuing his domination of Punk during the previous commercial break. Back live, the referee is counting Punk out on the floor as Reigns stares at him from inside the ring. Punk rolls back in and Reigns jumps right back on him. The fans encourage Punk to try and fight back, but Reigns continue to control him with a bear hug. Punk tries elbowing his way out of it but Reigns belly-to-belly suplexes him down hard for a near fall. We see another shot of Ambrose and Rollins arguing with the New Age Outlaws on the floor. Meanwhile, Reigns continues to work on the mid-section of Punk in the ring, likely setting him up for his big spear. Punk hits a jawbreaker on Reigns out of nowhere, followed by a turning cross-body splash off the ropes for a near fall. Reigns immediately slaps Punk in another bear hug. Punk fights out of it, hits the ropes but Reigns catches him and nails him with a big Samoan drop. Reigns goes for his big running superman punch but Punk avoids it and drops him with a big karate kick. We see Ambrose and Rollins arguing some more with the Outlaws on the floor. In the ring, Punk is making his comeback with a series of kicks and a big neckbreaker for a pin attempt, however Reigns kicks out before the count of two. Punk blasts Reigns with a running knee for a two count. Punk hits another running knee in the corner for another near fall. Punk hits the flying elbow smash off the top onto Reigns. Punk calls for the GTS. Ambrose pops up on the apron but Road Dogg yanks him off. Gunn and Rollins are brawling as well. Punk dives onto Rollins and knocks him over the announce table on the floor. Punk goes for a slingshot back into the ring but Reigns catches him coming down with his superman punch. 1-2…Punk kicks out. The fans bought that as the finish. Reigns is setting Punk up now for the spear. Reigns goes for it but Punk leaps over his head and rolls him up, 1-2…Reigns kicks out. Another good false finish. The “this is awesome” chants begin now. Punk catches Reigns with a big knockout kick for another near fall. Punk goes for the GTS but Reigns fights his way out of it. Reigns hits the spear on Punk after being distracted. 1-2-3. Reigns wins.

After The Match
After securing the victory, Ambrose and Rollins join Reigns in the ring. The three taunt a beaten and laid out Punk a bit. Reigns calls for the triple powerbomb but Jake Roberts’ music hits. Roberts comes out with the snake as The Shield look shocked in the ring. Meanwhile, the New Age Outlaws attack The Shield from behind. The Outlaws and Punk clean house of The Shield, except for Ambrose, who Punk hits with the GTS. The fans call for the DDT. Roberts doesn’t do a DDT but he dumps the snake out of the bag onto Ambrose. Old School RAW ends with Jake Roberts giving his snake a kiss. That’s it for Old School RAW everybody!
