Result » RAW - October 06, 2014(Rock's Surprise Appearance, Handicap Match & More)

- Tonight's WWE RAW opens up with a video on Dean Ambrose and last week's RAW. We're live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with JBL, Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole. 

- Seth Rollins comes right to the ring and tells them to cut the music. Fans boo Rollins. He's upset about the prank that Ambrose pulled on him last week. Rollins asks if they think it's funny and some do a "yes!" chant. Rollins says the real highlight from last week was him hitting the Curb Stomp on Ambrose and John Cena. We see the replay. Rollins goes on but is interrupted by Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble at ringside. They want him to leave the ring. Rollin understands he's a marked man and put a target on his back. He loves it. Rollins says this is what he lives for, standing in the center of the ring with all eyes on him. He says everyone wants a piece of Seth Rollins. John Cena runs down out of nowhere and they start brawling. Rollins escapes and runs through the crowd. Rollins taunts Cena from the crowd. Ambrose appears behind Rollins to a big pop. Ambrose attacks and Rollins escapes to ringside. Cena meets him there and they go at it. Ambrose leaps off the barrier and takes out Cena and Rollins. Mercury and Noble come over, allowing for Rollins to run up the ramp. Ambrose sits on the apron and Cena stands in the ring. Triple H's music hits and out he comes to the stage with Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie says they aren't going to let the show dissolve into chaos. Triple H says it's clear they both want a piece of Rollins and there's one thing The Authority stands for - opportunity. Stephanie asks the fans if they want to see Cena and Ambrose get their hands on Rollins. Triple H asks them again and we get a bigger pop. Triple H says if the fans want it, they'll get it tonight. He announces Cena and Ambrose vs. Rollins, Kane and Randy Orton in a handicap match. Triple H tells them to have a good night and his music hits. We go to the announcers. 

- Cole talks about Rusev vs. Big Show and we see Show pulling down the Russian flag last week, then his apology on SmackDown. The Authority has deemed Show inactive for tonight and put him in sensitivity training. Rusev and Lana will respond to Show's apology later tonight. 

- We see The Usos and Dolph Ziggler backstage warming up. Back to commercial. 

Cesaro, Stardust and Goldust vs. The Usos and Dolph Ziggler 

Back from the break and WWE Tag Team Champions Stardust and Goldust are making their entrance. Cesaro is out next. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler is out next to a big pop. The Usos are out next to a pop also. We get a sidebar video from earlier today of The Usos making fun of the champions. The bell rings and everyone goes at it. Stardust is the only one in the ring. Goldust throws Jey Uso into the steel steps. The referee tries to get things in order as fans chant for The Usos. It starts with Jey Uso and Stardust going at it. Fans chant for Ziggler to come in. Goldust tags in but Uso hits a crossbody. Cesaro tags in and they beat Uso down in the corner. Jimmy Uso tags in and hits Cesaro with chops in the corner. Cesaro turns it around with a big chop of his own. Uso whips Cesaro in the corner and hits the Rikishi splash. Cesaro comes right back and takes Uso to the corner. Stardust tags in and things all apart again. Cesaro throws Ziggler into the steps as The Usos also get taken out. We go to commercial. 

Back from the break and the heels are still in control. Cesaro works over Uso and taunts Ziggler by doing his elbow drop for a 2 count. Cesaro drops Uso again for another 2 count. Cesaro keeps Uso grounded now as fans chant for Ziggler to come in. Goldust comes back in to keep control but Uso starts to fight back. Jey drops Goldust with a kick and prepares to tag. Ziggler tags in to a big pop and unloads on Cesaro. Stardust gets Cesaro goes to one knee but sends Ziggler into the corner to break the hold. Ziggler dodges a running uppercut and hits the Fame-asser for 2 as Goldust breaks the pin. Uso tags Goldust out. The Usos both come in and leap out onto the tag champions. Ziggler turns around to a big uppercut from Cesaro for a close 2 count as Uso breaks the pin. More back and forth. Stardust tags in and nails his finisher on Ziggler for another close 2 count. Goldust get sent into the steps on the outside. Jimmy tags in. The Usos and Ziggler hit a triple superkick on Stardust. Jimmy goes to the top and hits the big splash for the win. 

Winners: The Usos and Dolph Ziggler 

- After the match, Ziggler celebrates with The Usos. 

- Cole shows us video from earlier of John Cena on NBC's Today with tonight's guest stars. Back to commercial. 

- Back from the break and out comes Adam Rose, The Bunny, The Rosebuds, Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Rose has a guest star on each arm and they all make their way to the ring. Rose welcomes the Today stars to RAW, where it's party time all the time. There's a table and chairs, with flowers and a few glasses of wine. Hoda says they're happy to be here for WWE and Susan G. Komen. They say they're ready to party and hype Brooklyn. They do a toast to RAW and the WWE Universe. JBL asks where his wine is. They've left Rose's music playing in the background, maybe to offset some of the boos. They ask for the music to be turned up so they can start dancing. Gifford breaks a bottle over Hoda's rear end. Hoda does the same. Rose calms things down and talks them into falling back off the apron in the arms of the Rosebuds. Hoda falls and Gifford hesitates. Fans boo so she falls back also. The Rosebuds carry them up the ramp as Rose follows. 

- The Wyatt Family intro flashes and we get another vignette from Bray Wyatt. What do you give a man who has nothing? Wyatt gave Luke Harper a reason to exist. He fixed him and now will send him out into our world. Harper is ready to hunt. Wyatt has set him free. Harper says we're doomed. Back to commercial. 

Bo Dallas vs. Mark Henry 

Back from the break and Bo Dallas is making his entrance. Mark Henry is next and wastes no time going after Bo. They bring it back in and Henry dominates Bo. Henry takes Bo to the floor and beats him around, using the ring post and the steps. Henry takes apart the announcers table and goes to hit a World's Strongest Slam on it but Bo slides out and runs in the ring, leaving Henry to be counted out. 

Winner by Count Out: Bo Dallas 

- Bo celebrates but Henry runs back in after him. Bo escapes before Henry can get to him. 

- Still to come, Roman Reigns will give an update on his status. Also, Rusev and Lana will respond to Big Show's apology. Plus our main event with Cena and Ambrose vs. Kane, Rollins and Orton. Back to commercial. 

- Back from the break and we get a promo for the SmackDown 15th anniversary show on Friday. Cole hypes the show and shows us a replay of how Rollins kicked off RAW. 

- We go to the ring and out comes Dean Ambrose. Cena's music hits and out he comes to a mixed reaction. Cena says Ambrose understands why he chased Rollins off so they're clear. Ambrose agrees, he would have done the same to Cena because he doesn't give a crap about Cena. Ambrose says Cena doesn't give a crap about him either. Ambrose says they both don't care what people think about them. Ambrose says he has no problem dropping Cena where he stands and taking on The Authority alone. Cena comes back through the ropes and reminds Ambrose about the cinder block incident. Cena says Ambrose has something he hasn't seen in a long time - guts. Cena says but saying and doing what you want has consequences. Cena says he has no problem with dropping Ambrose's ass either. Cena tells Ambrose to don't give him a reason to dislike him. They stare at each other. Ambrose says he's hungry and might take a ride to Coney Island. He tosses the mic at Cena and makes his way up the ramp as his music plays. 

- Still to come, Roman Reigns, Rusev and Lana. Back to commercial. 

- Back from the break and Cole shows us what just happened with Ambrose and Cena. We also get footage of Ambrose walking down in the subway and getting on the Q train to Coney Island. 

- Triple H and John Cena are backstage. Triple H asks what's with the kids these days. He says the kids like Ambrose don't realize the opportunity they get. Triple H points out Ambrose has left Cena hanging and it's now a 3-on-1 handicap match. Triple H says he's going to make Seth Rollins start the match, that way Cena knows he can get a piece of Rollins. Triple H tells Cena to keep calm and never give up. 

Brie Bella vs. Summer Rae 

We go to the ring and Brie Bella is getting one arm tied behind her back, per The Authority. We see Nikki Bella watching from the stage. Layla is also at ringside. Summer takes control and slams Brie's face into the turnbuckles several times. Summer tosses Brie for a 2 count. Summer continues to take advantage of the handicap and kick Brie around. Layla taunts Brie on the ropes. Brie turns it around out of nowhere and hits a big running knee to the face for the win. 

Winner: Brie Bella 

- After the match, Brie's arm is untied and she gets a big "yes!" chant going. 

- Kane is backstage and someone has sent him a gift basket. The Miz and Damien Sandow walk in. The basket is their way of saying sorry about comments they made about The Authority last week. Kane says they see right through Miz and Sandow. Kane books Miz vs. Sheamus for tonight. They leave but Sandow comes back to take the fruit basket. Back to commercial. 

Jack Swagger vs. Tyson Kidd 

Back from the break and out comes Jack Swagger with Zeb Colter to a pop. Tyson Kidd waits in the ring with Natalya and they're arguing. Swagger takes control early on and gets a big "we the people" from the crowd. Kidd counters and goes to the floor for a breather. Swagger follows and Kidd puts Natalya in the way as a shield. Kidd comes back with a kick to the face. Kidd argues with Natalya and goes back to work on Swagger with stomps. Kidd with a neckbreaker and a pin attempt. Kidd with a headlock now. Swagger comes back and hits the Swagger Bomb. Kidd blocks and goes for the Sharpshooter. Swagger counters with the Patriot Lock but Kidd gets the ropes before it can be applied. Kidd with a big kick. Kidd goes to the top but Swagger runs up and brings him to the mat. Swagger with a Patriot Lock for the win. 

Winner: Jack Swagger 

- After the match, Kidd clutches his ankle and looks upset at Natalya. 

- Cole hypes the Edge and Christian on the WWE Network tonight after RAW. We see the two at WWE studios in Stamford in a pre-taped video. They knocked Cole and talked about the special. 

- Still to come, Cena vs. Orton, Kane and Rollins. Also, Roman Reigns will give an update on his condition. Back to commercial. 

- Back from the break and Michael Cole is with Roman Reigns, live via satellite. Reigns says he's doing a lot better and doctors are happy with his progression. He's started moving around more. Reigns said he would much rather be at RAW in Brooklyn and gets a pop. He's counting down the days until he puts the vest back on and comes back to kick everybody's ass. Reigns said with the right positive attitude, that return is going to come a lot sooner than later. 

El Torito vs. Hornswoggle 

Back from a commercial and out comes Los Matadores with El Torito. Titus O'Neil, Heath Slater and Hornswoggle, dressed as the alligator, are out next. They call him Mini-Gator. 

The bell rings and they have a showdown. Mini-Gator charges but Torito keeps dodging him. Torito jumps on the Gator's back and slaps him around. Torito has words with Titus as fans chant "this is stupid." Mini-Gator does the Gator Roll on Slater and fans boo. He didn't know he had the wrong guy. They go on and fans aren't buying it. Torito finally gets the win on Mini-Gator. 

Winner: El Torito 

- Cole talks about Rusev vs. Big Show. We see Big Show backstage talking to a crew member. Up next, Show will be forced to listen to Rusev and Lana. Back to commercial. 

- Back from the break and out comes Rusev and Lana to the ring. Lana says today is a great day because it's the birthday of the most powerful man in the world, Russian President Vladimir Putin, who we see on the big screen. Fans boo him. Lana tells fans to rise and pay respect to Rusev. Nobody stands but they boo. Lana says there will be no match with Big Show because Show was suspended for desecrating the Russian flag. She says Show should be in prison, like all of the fans. She says fans have committed a hate crime by supporting Show. A big USA chant breaks out. Lana tells everyone to shut up. Lana calls everyone bigots. Rusev speaks and says what he will do to Big Show but we can't understand him and he gets the "what?" treatment. Rusev says America is no super power, America is nothing. Rusev calls Show to the ring. Rusev waits on Show and calls him a coward, just like all of the fans. The Rock's music hits and out he comes to a huge pop. 

Rock takes it all in for a few minutes on the stage before heading to the ring and posing. The music stops and Rock laughs as fans start a "holy shit" chant. Fans chant "this is awesome" and Rock hasn't even spoke yet. Rock says Lana and Rusev need to know their role and shut their mouth. Rock picks on how Rusev wears his shorts and says he has a Moscow moose knuckle. Rock says he woke up, worked out and flew to The Big Apple, getting another pop. Fans chant "Rocky" now. Rock talks about landing in NYC today and says he visited the Meat Packing District, Lana's favorite area of the city. Rock says he paid respect to The Captain and gets a "Derek Jeter" chant going. Rock does the "finally..." promo and gets another big pop. Lana asks Rock who he thinks he is. Fans boo. Lana tells Rock to shut up. Rock tells her to stop dressing like a Soviet street walker. Rusev approaches Rock now. Fans boo as Rusev takes the mic. He calls Rock an American piece of garbage. Rusev says this is Rock's last warning... leave now or get crushed. Rock mocks Rusev and his breath. Rock says Lana is beautiful in person but walks around like someone shoved a Smirnoff bottle in her Putin. Rock does the "it doesn't matter" line on Rusev. Rock says there's a reason why nobody has been able to beat Rusev - he's bigger, stronger, more dangerous than most in the back. Rock calls them both international assholes. Lana says Rusev is hungry and Rusev readies for a fight. Rock says just like the great Jay-Z once said, "allow me to re-introduce myself..." Rock introduces himself like only he can and unloads on Rusev with right hands. The crowd goes nuts. Rock sends Rusev over the top rope. Rock does the "if ya smell..." line and his music hits. Lana and Rusev make their exit as Rock celebrates. We go to the announcers and see Rock going around ringside and greeting fans. He greets the announcers as well. Rock hops into the crowd and hugs two fans in wheelchairs. He goes back over and greets more fans at ringside as his music plays. 

- We get a look back at Cena and Ambrose from earlier tonight. We get another shot of The Rock posing on the stage. Still to come, Cena vs. Rollins, Kane and Orton. Back to commercial. 

Paige and Alicia Fox vs. AJ Lee and Emma 

Back from the break and out comes Paige with Alicia Fox. WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee is out next followed by her partner Emma, who got a decent reaction. AJ and Alicia start the match. AJ throws Alicia into Paige on the apron, sending her to the floor. AJ slams Paige into the announcers table and chases her back through the ring. Emma tags in and dances for Alicia. Alicia hits her with a running knee and throws her out to the apron. Emma fights back in with a shoulder and a kick to the face. Emma rolls Alicia up for a 2 count. Emma dances around and charges in the corner but Alicia blocks it. Alicia misses in the corner and Emma gets the ropes submission applied. Emma hits the splash in the corner. AJ looks frustrated and wants a tag. AJ drops off the apron and walks away with her title. Emma looks confused. Emma turns around to a kick to the face from Paige. Paige hits the Ram-Paige on Emma for the win. 

Winners: Alicia Fox and Paige 

- After the match, AJ looks on from the stage as Alicia and Paige taunt her. 

- We get another vignette from The Wyatt Family. This vignette focuses more on Erick Rowan. Wyatt says he fixed Rowan. Rowan says not to apologize, he will hurt them like they hurt him. "It's coming" is written on a pregnant women's belly to end the vignette. Back to commercial. 

- We come back to a graphic and applause for Bruno Sammartino, who is celebrating his 79th birthday today. 

Sheamus vs. The Miz 

We go to the ring and out comes The Miz with his stunt double Damien Sandow. WWE United States Champion Sheamus is out next for a non-title match. 

Back from the break and Miz takes control with forearms and elbows in the corner. Fans chant for Sandow. Miz with a 2 count on Sheamus. A "we want Sandow" chant starts next. Sandow has been at ringside copying Miz the whole time. Sandow gets a cheap shot on Sheamus and the crowd pops big. Miz with a 2 count on Sheamus. A "Sandow's better" chant starts next and the announcers acknowledge it. Sheamus runs over Miz with forearms. Sheamus with a shoulder and a high knee. Sheamus and Miz are both getting booed now. Sheamus with a high knee in the corner and another big slam. Sheamus goes for a Brogue but Sandow pulls Miz out of the ring. Sheamus follows and throws Sandow into the barrier to boos. Miz with a cheap shot on Sheamus. Miz rolls him back in the ring. They get on the apron and Miz moves, leaving Sandow to eat a Brogue Kick off the apron. Miz rolls Sheamus up for the win. 

Winner: The Miz 

- After the match, Sheamus goes after Miz and Sandow with a steel chair but they run away to the back. 

- The announcers hype tonight's main event and lead us to a video showing Hulk Hogan talking about Susan G. Komen last week. Back to commercial. 

- Back from the break and Jerry Lawler introduces breast cancer survivors and people from Susan G. Komen. He also introduces journalist Joan Lunden, who comes out to the stage. She talks about how the fight against breast cancer is tough but ones going through it shouldn't be ashamed. She thanks people for their donations and says it really is making a difference. She calls out the names of the survivors at ringside. Lunden says they are the real warrior club. Lunden asks for help again, thanks everyone and wishes everyone a good night. John Cena comes out and hugs Lunden before walking to the back with her. 

- Still to come, our main event. Back to commercial. 

- Back from the break and we get another shot of Edge and Christian from WWE studios in Stamford. They take another shot at Cole and plug their special on the WWE Network after RAW. 

John Cena vs. Kane, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton 

We go to the ring and out first comes John Cena for tonight's main event. Fans begin chanting as soon as Cena's music hits. Randy Orton is out next to a big mixed reaction. Kane is out next followed by Seth Rollins, who must start the match with Cena. Rollins starts but immediately tags out to Kane. Cena takes Kane to the corner. Cena knocks Rollins off the apron but gets dropped by Kane. Orton and Kane keep Cena down and tag in Rollins when Cena is beat up. Rollins takes Cena to another corner and beats him down. Rollins with a big running shot in the corner. Cena makes a comeback on Rollins but Kane comes in and causes the disqualification. 

Winner by DQ: John Cena 

- After the bell, Orton, Kane and Rollins beat Cena down. Orton readies for a RKO but Dean Ambrose's music hits and out he comes with a hot dog cart. Ambrose tosses his hot dog as Kane and Orton approach him on the ramp. Ambrose squirts them with ketchup and mustard. Ambrose rams the cart into Kane. He hits the ring and unloads on Rollins. Orton and Kane, covered in condiments, come back in the ring to join the fight. Cena also joins in. Rollins goes over the top. Cena hits Orton with an Attitude Adjustment. Kane goes down with a clothesline. Ambrose runs the ropes and leaps out onto Rollins on the floor. Ambrose throws sauerkraut, relish and hot dog buns all over Rollins. Ambrose grabs a pair of tongs and grabs Rollins below the belt with them. Kane comes to help but Cena brings him in the ring and hits an AA. Ambrose and Cena face off in the ring. Triple H's music hits and out he comes with Stephanie. He announces Cena vs. Ambrose at Hell In a Cell with the winner facing Rollins later that night inside the Cell. Ambrose ends up laying Cena out and standing over him as RAW goes off the air.

Result » RAW - April 28, 2014 (Hugh Jackman, Stephanie Apologizes to Bryan & More)

- Tonight's WWE RAW opens up with a video for Bray Wyatt and John Cena. We're live from the Scottrade Center as Michael Cole welcomes us. A steel cage is lowered around the ring. John Cena's music hits and out he comes to a mixed reaction. Cena enters the cage as the announcers hype tonight's show. Cena isn't joking around tonight. He seems upset as he waits for the crowd to calm down. Cena asks why, twice. Cena asks fans why they voted him in a match against all three members of The Wyatt Family last week. A "you suck" chant starts up. Cena says time have changed but he doesn't blame the fans for that. Cena says he's had some good time with the fans but through it all, good or bad, he's never abandoned any fans and always put WWE first. Cena asks why are the fans drawn to Wyatt. Cena knows there's going to come a time when he has to step aside. Cena gives props to Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Cesaro and Daniel Bryan. Cena names Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn from NXT, saying they have heart and passion. Cena says Wyatt is dangerous. Cena goes on but is interrupted by The Wyatt flash on the screen. The lights go down. A little child starts singing "the whole world in his hands" and the crowd sings along.

The lights come on and it's not just one kid. It's an entire kids choir on the stage, singing the song. They're all dressed in black robes. Bray finally appears with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Bray sings along and the kids follow him to the cage. They change it to "the whole Cenation in his hands." The kids surround the cage and they're all wearing sheep masks. Bray laughs from his rocking chair, with one of the kids on his knee. We go to commercial.

- We come back and see what just happened with Bray Wyatt and his choir. WWE Tag Team Title Match: Ryback and Curtis Axel vs. The Usos We go to the ring and out comes WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos. Ryback and Curtis Axel are out next. Justin Roberts formal ring introductions before the match. Axel starts things off with Jimmy Uso. Ryback ends up tagging in with Jey Uso and they go at it. Ryback hits a scoop slam but misses a splash. Jimmy comes in for some double teaming. They toss Ryback out of the ring and drop Axel as he runs in. The Usos run the ropes and leap out onto Ryback and Axel. One of the Usos sells a leg injury as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Axel is in control of Jimmy. During the break, a trainer came out to check on Jey Uso’s leg. Axel keeps control of Jimmy in the ring now. Ryback comes in and they double team Jimmy. Jimmy fights them both off the top rope and sends them to the mat. Jey tags in and goes to the top. Jey nails a crossbody on Axel for a 2 count. Jey beats down Axel in the corner and kicks Ryback. Jey with a big Samoan Drop on Axel. Jey sells the injury now. He nails the back splash on Axel in the corner. 2 count for Uso. Ryback comes back in for some double teaming. Ryback nails a spinebuster for a close 2 count. Uso blocks a Meathook clothesline with a big superkick but Ryback kicks out at 2. Ryback nails a big clothesline. Ryback goes for Shellshocked on Uso but he slides down and rolls Ryback up for another close 2 count. Axel tags in for some double teaming but it’s blocked. Ryback gets kicked out of the ring. Axel nails a Perfect-plex but it’s on the wrong man. Jimmy nails a big Superfly splash for the win.

Winners: The Usos

- Cole mentions Extreme Rules won’t be available on DISH or DirecTV but it will be on the WWE Network. They hype Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton and we go to commercial. - Back from the break and we get an Adam Rose vignette. He will debut next week. - Cesaro is backstage with Paul Heyman. Heyman is disappointed with Rob Van Dam for speaking out against him. Heyman says he takes his clients to the top. Cesaro says that's all he needed to hear. - We get a look at Kane and Daniel Bryan from last week's RAW. Still to come, Stephanie will apologize to Bryan. - Back from the break and we get a creepy shot of Kane's mask backstage.

Sheamus vs. Titus O'Neil

We go to the ring and out comes Sheamus. Before he can get down the ramp, Titus O'Neil attacks him from behind. Titus beats Sheamus down the ramp and tosses him into the barrier. Titus rolls Sheamus in the ring and continues the assault. The referee breaks them up and checks on Sheamus. The bell rings and Titus keeps up the attack.

Out of nowhere Sheamus connects with a big Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus - Hugh Jackman is next. Back to commercial. - Back from the break and we get another Bo Dallas vignette. - We come back to the ring and Dolph Ziggler is waiting in the ring. Dolph talks about how this is his favorite time of the year because the girls get hotter, the bikinis get tighter and the superheroes return to the big screen. Ziggler leads us to a trailer for the new X-Men movie. Ziggler introduces Wolverine himself and out comes Jackman to a big pop. We see the incident between Jackman and Ziggler from a while back. They make up and out comes Damien Sandow dressed as Magneto. He comes to the ring and they rag on him. Sandow is the ultimate geek here. Jackman asks to touch the cape and says it's awesome. Sandow tries to use his magnetic powers. A goofy sound plays and it appears Sandow is using his powers to pull the microphone from Jackman's hand. Jackman struggles and jabs the mic at Sandow. Jackman nails a hip toss and Ziggler hits the Zig Zag. Cole says Jackman and Ziggler just saved the WWE Universe from a villain.

- We get a video for Evolution vs. The Shield.

Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro

Back from the break and out comes Zeb Colter with Jack Swagger. Paul Heyman is out next. He does a knock knock joke and it's "Mike... My-client ended The Streak. Heyman promises not to talk about The Streak anymore. He starts hyping up Cesaro and out comes Cesaro with his new music.

Cesaro takes control early on with gutwrench slams. Swagger goes to the floor for a break. Cesaro with a big boot through the ropes. Cesaro with a double ax handle off the apron. Swagger turns it around and brings Cesaro back in for a 2 count. Swagger sends Cesaro into the ring post and nails a big clothesline for another 2 count. Swagger keeps control and goes for another pin attempt. Cesaro turns it around and nails a suplex. Zeb grabs Cesaro's leg, allowing Swagger to drop Cesaro. Heyman comes over and grabs Zeb's mustache, distracting Swagger. Cesaro nails a German suplex for the win.

- Zeb has words with Cesaro after the match. Heyman and Cesaro celebrate as Zeb and Swagger look on from the ramp.

- We get a look back at earlier where Bray Wyatt brought out a choir. Renee is backstage with Cena. She asks him for comments on what happened and he's speechless. Cena walks off and we go to commercial.

- Back from the break and we get another creepy look at Kane's mask backstage in the case.

Cody Rhodes vs. Alberto Del Rio

We come back and Alberto Del Rio waits as Cody Rhodes and Goldust are making their entrance. Del Rio attacks Cody as he's shaking hands with his brother. Del Rio keeps control and knocks Cody out of the corner. Del Rio with a suplex into a 2 count. Cody turns it around and nails a clothesline. Cody with a scoop slam and a pin attempt. Del Rio takes back control and back drops Cody for a 2 count. Del Rio with a headlock now.



Cody comes back and hits a dropkick. Cody misses a clothesline and Del Rio catches him in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for 2. Del Rio with a superkick and a 2 count. Del Rio with another headlock now. Cody kicks Del Rio but gets knocked out of mid-air. Del Rio with a superkick to the face. Del Rio with the cross armbreaker now. Cody taps out to end it.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

- After the match, Goldust tries to talk to Cody but Cody shoves him away. Goldust follows Cody up the ramp as Del Rio celebrates in the ring.

Alexander Rusev vs. Xavier Woods

Back from the break and out comes Lana to introduce Alexander Rusev. R-Truth and Xavier Woods wait at ringside. Rusev dominates the match and goes for The Accolade but before Woods taps out, Truth runs in and attacks Rusev for the disqualification.

Winner by DQ: Alexander Rusev

- After the bell, Truth keeps beating on Rusev and kicks him out of the ring. Rusev takes another kick on the apron. He comes back but Woods knocks him off the apron again. Lana calms Rusev at ringside and he stares them down as he backs up the ramp.

- Cole shows us video of Cena granting Wishes earlier today. We come back and see the 3 fans at ringside.

- Renee is backstage with Rob Van Dam. Zeb walks up and asks if he wants to join The Real Americans. RVD turns him down and says he's just going to keep being R-V-D. Back to commercial.

Los Matadores vs. Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre

Back from the break and both teams are out. Hornswoggle and El Torito are also there and will face each other in a WeeLC Match on the Extreme Rules pre-show. Everything falls apart and Jinder Mahal gets gored on the floor. Slater actually gets the win for his team.

Winners: 3MB

- After the match, Torito springboards out and takes 3MB down.

- Up next, Stephanie will apologize to Bryan. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and Sheamus vs. Bray Wyatt is announced for Main Event.

- Stephanie McMahon makes her way out as we see footage from last week's RAW. Stephanie is ready to apologize and calls out Daniel Bryan. Finally his music hits and out comes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion with Brie Bella. Bryan doesn't look happy and is wearing a neck brace. He also doesn't have the belts with him.

Fans chant Bryan's name as he speaks from the stage. Bryan says he almost believed Stephanie when she said she wanted Kane to stop the attack last week. Bryan says everyone knows Stephanie is full of crap. A "yes" chant starts up. Stephanie says she's earned that, she doesn't blame Bryan. She needs him to understand. Stephanie says she and Triple H never wanted Bryan to be champion, that's no secret. Bryan talks about how Brie felt when they were doing so many bad things to him. Stephanie goes on and says she's incredible sorry for what's happened. Bryan says the fans agree when he says she's still full of crap. Another "yes" chant starts. Stephanie says she doesn't know how else to prove it unless Bryan comes to the ring and looks her in the eyes so she can convince him. Bryan says he's still going to see a liar. Bryan knows Stephanie can call Kane out to do something to him or his wife. Bryan says his head hurts bad and he can't move his neck but he doesn't back down for a fight. He says doctors have cleared him for Extreme Rules and he's not giving up. Bryan promises that if Kane takes him down, he's taking Kane down with him... straight to hell. Stephanie says she doesn't even know where Kane is. She says his mask has been locked up in her office. Stephanie says maybe she can make it up and Brie can compete. She talks about Tamina Snuka vs. Paige at Extreme Rules. However, it will be Brie vs. Paige tonight for the title. Stephanie is fine with Bryan being at ringside. Stephanie says that match starts right now.

WWE Divas Title Match: Brie Bella vs. Paige

Brie heads down to the ring with Bryan behind her. Stephanie exits the ring. The camera cuts backstage and we see Kane's mask is missing from the case. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and WWE Divas Champion Paige is out. They lock up and Paige takes Brie to the mat. They trade holds and Paige jumps to her feet. Bryan is looking paranoid at ringside. Brie with a 1 count. Paige with a kick. Paige tosses Brie across the ring by her hair. Paige with stomps in the corner now. Paige with a fisherman's suplex for a 2 count. Brie fights back but Paige shoves her into the ropes. Paige with knees to the gut on the apron. Paige screams some more and the fans pop.

Brie makes a comeback but Paige cuts her off on the top turnbuckle. Paige nails a superplex. Kane's pyro suddenly goes off and his music hits. Bryan guards the ring and waits on Kane. Kane's fist comes up from under the middle of the ring. He tries to pull Brie under the ring but Bryan comes in for the save. Kane shoves him off and tries to pull Brie through the hole. Kane shoves Bryan out of the ring again. Kane climbs up out of the hole in the ring and grabs Brie by her leg. Bryan grabs a wrench from under the ring and lays Kane out with it. Bryan checks on Brie and tells her to run away. Kane gets up and chokeslams Bryan. Brie comes back screaming for Bryan. Kane grabs Brie and pulls her through the hole. She kicks him in the face and runs out of the ring to check on Bryan. WWE officials are also checking on him. Kane stands back up in the ring. As officials are helping Bryan up the ramp, Kane makes the pyro explode again and starts laughing. We go to commercial.

- Back from the break and the announcers talk about what just happened. We see Bryan and Brie back in the trainer's room. Stephanie walks in and apologizes. She asks the trainer if Bryan can compete at Extreme Rules. Bryan says he will be there and Stephanie will regret dragging his wife into this. Brie screams for Stephanie to get out and calls her a bitch. Stephanie mumbles she's sorry and walks out with her head down.

- We get another look at Bray Wyatt's choir from earlier. Renee is outside of Cena's dressing room. He apologizes for ignoring her earlier. He says the children in sheep masks didn't sit well with him. Cena says he got so caught up in Wyatt's mind games that he went out and thought the WWE fans turned their back on him. Cena says they haven't and he's proud of that. Cena says the mind games stop on Sunday. He says he has special plans for Bray at Extreme Rules. Cena says Wyatt will not have the whole world in his hands, he will have Cena's fist in his face and his foot in his ass.

WWE Intercontinental Title Tournament Final: Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam

We go to the ring and Bad News Barrett is out on his podium. Barrett has some bad news for Rob Van Dam. Barrett says RVD is no longer relevant. Barrett says he was in diapers the last time RVD had the Intercontinental Title. Barrett does the "BNB" shoulder point and we go to commercial.

Back from the break and Justin Roberts does introductions. Rob Van Dam comes out to a big pop. They lock up and break. RVD works on the arm. Barrett with right hands. RVD with an arm drag. Barrett fights out of a headlock but RVD dumps him over the top rope. RVD with a dropkick through the ropes. RVD barely connects with a moonsault from the apron. RVD brings it back in for a 2 count. Barrett sends RVD to the floor and tosses him into the barrier. Barrett mocks RVD. Barrett slams RVD face first into the announcers table and brings it back in for a 2 count. Barrett with right hands. RVD with a kick and a scissors takedown for 2. RVD with more offense in the corner now. RVD ends up connecting a huge kick to the gut. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Barrett has RVD down in a headlock. RVD makes a comeback but Barrett nails Winds of Change for a close 2 count. Barrett drops a big elbow for another pin attempt. Barrett with more offense in the corner. Barrett with a neck breaker and a knee to the spine. RVD blocks a knee and rolls Barrett up for 2. RVD with a kick to the jaw. RVD gets the crowd hype but Barrett dodges Rolling Thunder. RVD with 2 clotheslines. RVD with a big block and a kick. Cesaro comes to ringside and gets on the apron. RVD has words with him. Swagger runs down and pulls Cesaro off the apron. They go at it and Cesaro tosses Swagger over the barrier. RVD turns around and ducks the Bullhammer. RVD drops Barrett with a kick. RVD hits Rolling Thunder. RVD goes to the tip for a Five Star Frogsplash but Cesaro runs up. Cesaro slips off the apron. RVD hits the Frogplash but Barrett gets his knees up. Barrett hits the Bullhammer for the win and title shot at Extreme Rules.

Winner and New #1 Contender: Bad News Barrett

- After the match, Heyman looks on from ringside as Cesaro enters the ring and stomps away on RVD. Swagger makes the save and beats on Cesaro in the corner. Swagger nails a gutwrench powerbomb. Zeb Colter is out now. Swagger beats RVD around the ring now. RVD blocks a shot and kicks Swagger in the face. RVD with a thrust kick to send Swagger out of the ring. RVD goes to the top for the Frogsplash and nails it on Cesaro. RVD's music hits and he heads to the back.

- The announcers hype Extreme Rules. We see footage of The Shield from Friday's SmackDown.

- The Shield cuts a backstage promo on Evolution. We go to commercial.

Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

Back from the break and out comes Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton to the Evolution theme. Triple H takes the mic and talks about The Shield taking out everyone on SmackDown. He admits he's impressed. He says The Shield are starting to remind him of Evolution. Orton and Batista chime in and say The Shield will never be them. Triple H says he brought them into this world and Evolution is going to take them out of it. Triple H says The Shield will either adapt or perish at Extreme Rules. The Shield's music hits and out they come through the crowd.

Ric Flair's music hits before the match starts and Flair takes his time coming down the ramp. Batista applauds Flair and The Shield looks worried. Flair greets Evolution and hugs them. Flair takes the mic and talks about all the fun he's had in St. Louis. Flair says it's great being in the ring with men that stand for what this business is all about - dominance. Flair talks about being with the Four Horsemen. Flair says he has seen everything come full circle, including greatness. Flair says he's surrounded by Superstars who exemplify power, style and grace. Flair says but what he's talking about is The Shield. The crowd pops. Flair shakes the hands of The Shield. Evolution looks on confused. Flair just leaves the ring.

Reigns strikes first to start the match. Orton fights back and sends Reigns to the floor. They brawl on the floor now. Orton goes for a suplex but Reigns fights it off. Reigns drops Orton on the floor with a suplex of his own. Reigns with more offense on the floor now. Orton counters and whips Reigns into the ring steps. Orton brings it back in the ring for a 2 count and keeps control of Reigns. Orton sends Reigns back to the floor and brings him in but can't hit the draping DDT. Reigns comes back with a clothesline out of the corner. Reigns ducks a clothesline and hits a big forearm. Reigns with a clothesline and right hand in the corner.

Reigns with the big dropkick apron on Orton. Batista distracts Reigns. Triple H grabs Reigns' leg. Rollins and Ambrose come over to brawl with Triple H and Batista. Triple H sends Ambrose flying over the announcers table. Rollins is also down. Reigns nails a Superman punch on Orton in the ring. Reigns comes out and brawls with Batista and Triple H as the bell rings. Reigns fights off Batista and Triple H. Orton runs over and Evolution beats down Reigns on the floor. Evolution beats down all of The Shield on the floor now. Ambrose takes a spinebuster on the floor from Triple H. Orton poses and the fans pop. Batista stomps on Ambrose some more. They roll The Shield into the ring for more beatdown. Ambrose stumbles to his feet, charges and Triple H clotheslines him. Triple H goes for a Pedigree on Ambrose but Rollins springboards in with a dropkick. The Shield fights back. Orton gets tossed to the floor. Batista gets kicked to the floor. Reigns spears Triple H and he sells it big time. They go for the triple powerbomb on Triple H but in comes Batista and Orton with chairs but they get knocked right back to the floor. Triple H escapes the ring and Orton and Batista join him on the ramp. The Shield stands tall in the ring with chairs. RAW goes off the air with both teams staring each other down and talking trash.

Ultimate Warrior Tribute
RAW opens live in the building where we see all of the WWE Superstars and WWE Divas standing on the stage. The titantron has a huge “in memory of” graphic. Michael Cole says tonight we will pay tribute to one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all-time. In the ring, Jerry Lawler introduces an Ultimate Warrior video package. After the video package, Lawler asks us to give a moment of silence as we toll the bell ten times. The bell is rung ten times as we see closeup shots of everyone on the stage, including Vince McMahon. Warrior’s music hits and the talent on stage lead the fans in a “Warrior” chant. We get some announcements informing us some of the matches scheduled for tonight and then we head to our first commercial break of the evening.
Intercontinental Title Contender Tournament
- Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio
When we return from commercial, Justin Roberts introduces Alberto Del Rio, who is already in the ring. After that, Rob Van Dam’s music and he makes his way to the ring for this first-round WWE Intercontinental Championship number one contender tournament match.
RVD’s music fades down and immediately the fans break out into a loud “RVD” chant. The bell rings and Del Rio goes right to work on Van Dam. RVD eventually gets the better of Del Rio, who takes a break outside the ring to recover. The fans explode in another passionate “RVD” chant.
Back in the ring, Del Rio regains control of the offense and is taking it to Van Dam as the announcers put over some of the other first round matches in this tournament, all of which are scheduled to take place on tonight’s show. We see a shot of Big E. backstage watching the match. Meanwhile, Van Dam begins firing up on offense, but is cut short by a huge clothesline from Del Rio on the floor. We head to a mid-match commercial.
When we return from commercial, Del Rio remains in control of the former six-time I-C champ. We see some highlights of action that took place during the break. After that, Van Dam slightly botches a flying kick off the middle rope. Del Rio hits the Backstabber on Van Dam out of the blue for a near fall. Del Rio goes to the top-rope as another “RVD” chant breaks out. When Del Rio comes off the top, Van Dam catches him with a spin kick. Both guys are down.
We see another shot of Big E. looking on backstage as Del Rio continues his assault on Van Dam in the ring. Del Rio calls for his Cross Armbreaker. He goes for it, but Van Dam reverses into a scissor takedown into a pin attempt. He only gets two. Van Dam goes to the top and hits his Five Star Frogsplash. 1-2-3. Van Dam wins and advances in the tournament.

Backstage: Batista, Randy Orton & The Authority
After the match, we get a recap video of what went down last week between Triple H, Randy Orton, Batista and The Shield and Daniel Bryan. After that, we see Batista and Randy Orton entering Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s office. They talk off-mic amongst each other and then we fade away. The announcers again talk about the legacy of Ultimate Warrior, and then they introduce a clip of Warrior from SummerSlam 1988.
Backstage: The Authority, Batista & Randy Orton Again
When we return from commercial, we see another glimpse into The Authority’s locker room, where Batista and Randy Orton are still standing. Triple H mentions that Daniel Bryan isn’t here tonight, but they have a bigger problem, which is The Shield. He says The Shield reminds him a lot of “us,” referring to Evolution. He says he’s not sure if anybody can stop them. Stephanie McMahon says she does, and she’s looking at them, again referring to Evolution. Triple H reiterates that when the three of them are on the same page, no one can stop them. Batista says that’s great, but he just wants to be champ. Orton agrees with Dave on this one, and informs Hunter that he’s on his own. They walk off.
Goldust & Cody Rhodes vs. Ryback & Curtis Axel
After the backstage segment we hear Goldust’s theme, as we see he and Cody Rhodes entering the ring. Already in the ring is the team of Ryback and Curtis Axel. The bell rings and Goldust and Axel start things off for their respective teams. Goldust takes the early offensive advantage and then tags in his little brother. Rhodes comes in and picks up where Goldust left off, taking it to Axel in the middle of the ring.
Cody drops an elbow to the arm of Axel. Cody hits a front suplex and rolls Axel up for a one count. Cody starts concentrating on the left arm of Axel. Goldust now tags back in. Goldust connects with a shot to the gut and drops an elbow for another one count. Axel fights back with a knee to the gut followed by a headbutt. Goldust hits the ropes and connects with his uppercut. Goldust goes after Ryback and Axel attacks him from behind. Axel lands in some stomps and tags in Ryback. Ryback and Axel hit a double clothesline in the corner and Ryback covers for a two count. Ryback chokes Goldust on the middle rope then hits some shoulder tackles in the corner.
Ryback hits a scoop slam and goes to the middle rope. He tags in Axel and Ryback hits a splsh. Axel comes off the middle rope with an ax handle and covers for a two count. Axel hits a knee to the gut then tags Ryback back in. Ryback hits a back kick and covers for another two count. Ryback now locks in a rear chin lock. Goldust fights back to his feet, but Ryback takes him back down and locks in the rear chin lock again. Goldust back to his feet against and lands some body shots, but Ryback whips him into the corner. Ryback charges and eats a back elbow by Goldust. Goldust makes the tag to Cody.
Cody fights off a gorilla press and lands a right hand. Cody goes to the top and hits a moonsault on Ryback. Ryback rolls to the outside. Cody spring boards to the top rope and hits a splash on the outside to Ryback. Ryback back in the ring. Cody hits a spring board drop kick for a near fall. Axel low bridges Goldust out of the ring and eats a disaster kick for his troubles. Rhodes goes for the Disaster Kick, but misses and Ryback ends up nailing him with the Meathook Clothesline. 1-2-3. RyBaxel wins. We head to commercial.

WWE Divas Championship
- Paige (c) vs. Alicia Fox
When we return from commercial, a new “Bo-Lieve” promo airs. After that, the new WWE Divas Champion Paige makes her way to the ring. Already in the ring is her opponent for tonight, Alicia Fox. Footage airs last week of Paige winning the title over AJ Lee.
The bell rings and our Divas Championship match is now officially underway. Fox gets the upper-hand straight out of the gate as the announcers bicker back-and-forth for the first time tonight. Fox dominates Paige for several minutes and then the Divas Champion turns things around with a big kick.
Paige enjoys a series of offensive attacks and then locks Fox in a weird submission-type move. Fox has no choice but to tap out. Paige gets the submission victory and retains her WWE Divas Championship.

The Usos vs. Batista & Randy Orton
Out first are the WWE Tag-Team Champions, The Usos, who have on Ultimate Warrior t-shirts and Warrior-style facepaint. Out next are the challengers, Batista and Randy Orton. The bell rings and here we go.
The Usos are all over Batista and Orton early on. They toss both men to the outside and then dive over the top onto both men. The Usos are back in the ring and getting the crowd behind them. Orton now gets back in the ring. He will be starting against Jey Uso. Orton on Jey quickly with right hands and a headbutt. Orton whips Jay, but he comes back with a right hand and now Jimmy tags in. Jimmy lands a flying forearm and covers for a two count.
Orton and Jimmy trade blows, but Orton gains the advantage with his backbreaker. Batista now tags in. Batista lands a kick to the gut and lands shots to Jimmy on the bottom rope. Jimmy gets whipped hard into the corner. Batista hits a big suplex on Jimmy and covers for a two count. Batista drags Jimmy to his corner and tags in Orton. Orton starts targeting the limbs of Jimmy with stomps. Jimmy fights back to his feet with right hands. Orton tosses Jimmy down by his hair and tags Batista back in. Batista lands a stomp, but Jimmy comes back with a kick to the chest.
Jimmy charges and Batista hits the spinebuster for a close near fall. Jimmy reverses a whip and hits a samoan drop for a two count which was broken up by Orton. Orton attacks Jey Uso and throws him into the announce table. The Shield show up out of nowhere and attack Orton on the outside. The Shield surround the ring with Batista in it.
The Shield slowly get in the ring and Reigns connects with the superman punch to Batista and he rolls to the outside where Orton regroups with him. “The Animal” and “The VIper” retreat up the stage as The Shield looks on from the ring.
Winners: No Contest
Backstage: Batista, Randy Orton and Triple H
Backstage, we see an angry Batista and Randy Orton. Triple H approaches them and simply says, “I told you so.” Batista and Orton look at each other.
Paul Heyman Continues To Gloat
Paul Heyman comes out to the top of the stage, to no music, and repeatedly brags about his client Brock Lesnar defeating The Undertaker’s streak. He introduces some historic photos from WrestleMania of Undertaker laying flat on his back. After that, he introduces his newest client, “The King of Swing,” Cesaro. Cesaro comes out to no music and shakes Heyman’s hand. The two head to the ring.
Intercontinental Title Contender Tournament
- Cesaro (with Paul Heyman) vs. Mark Henry
Cesaro and Heyman make their way to the ring. Out next is Mark Henry. Is this another first round match in the WWE Intercontinental Championship number one contender tournament. The winner of this match will square off with Rob Van Dam, who advanced in the tournament earlier tonight after defeating Alberto Del Rio in singles action.
The bell rings and Henry immediately starts yelling at Heyman. Henry and Cesaro circle each other and finally start going at it. The two tie-up and move each other around, but ultimately Henry is too strong for the “King of Swing.” Henry throws Cesaro out to the floor. Heyman talks to Cesaro and gives him some advice, before he re-enters the ring. We see a shot of Big E. watching on backstage.
Cesaro starts gaining the offensive momentum as he blasts Henry with repeated European uppercuts. Henry eventually out-powers Cesaro again and knocks him down to the mat. Cesaro rolls out to the floor once again to recover and regroup. Heyman again gives some advice to the former Real American. Henry goes for the World’s Strongest Slam, but Cesaro manages to escape. Cesaro hits his Neutralizer finisher on Henry and pins him. 1-2-3. Cesaro wins and advances. Heyman gets on the mic and announces Cesaro as the winner. We head to a commercial.

Backstage: The Authority & Brad Maddox
When we return from commercial, we see Triple H and Stephanie McMahon backstage with Brad Maddox. They tell Maddox he needs to go fetch The Shield for them.
Alexander Rusev (with Lana) vs. Xavier Woods
Justin Roberts introduces the “Ravishing Russian,” Alexander Rusev. Out comes Lana, who puts over Rusev a bunch and then finally introduces him. Out he comes, and the two make their way to the ring. Already in the ring is Rusev’s opponent tonight, Xavier Woods.
The bell rings and immediately the fans in Birmingham break out in a “U.S.A.” chant as Rusev easily handles Woods in the ring. Rusev quickly beats down Woods and applies his “Accolade” submission finisher (which is just a fancy name for the Camel Clutch). Woods taps out.

After The Match: Rusev Attacks
After the match, R-Truth, who was in Woods’ corner, gets in Rusev’s face. Rusev doesn’t do anything. Truth goes over to check on Woods, and is blasted by a running big-boot to the face courtesy of the “Ravishing Russian.”
Intercontinental Title Contender Tournament
- Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter) vs. Sheamus
When we return from commercial, Jack Swagger is finishing up his ring entrance. Out next is Sheamus. It’s time for another first round match in the WWE Intercontinental Championship number one contender tournament. Already advancing earlier tonight is Rob Van Dam and Cesaro. The third person to advance is about to be decided now, as the bell rings and these two big bulls collide.
Swagger lands big knees to Sheamus in the corner. Swagger goes or a clothesline, but Sheamus ducks and lands some right hands of his own. Sheamus connects with a big clothesline. Sheamus hits the ropes and lands another clothesline. Sheamus now clotheslines Swagger to the outside. Zeb climbs on the apron, and Swagger slams Sheamus down on the outside.
Both men are now back in the ring. Swagger covers and gets a close two count. Swagger locks in a double shoulder lock. Sheamus fights back to his feet, but Swagger connects with a belly to belly suplex for a two count. Swagger chokes Sheamus on the middle rope. Swagger connects with a short arm clothesline for another two count. Swagger tosses Sheamus in the corner and drives his knee into his face. Swagger hits a snapmare and locks in the double shoulder lock again. Sheamus gets back to his feet and hits a big clothesline. Swagger charges Sheamus but Sheamus connects with a few running lariats.
Sheamus hits a running knee, followed by a snapmare and a kick to the back. Sheamus covers for a two count. Sheamus gets Swagger in the ropes and hits his ten clubbing blows. Sheamus goes to the top rope and hits the battering ram for a close two count. Swagger hits a back elbow to get separation, but Sheamus lands a forearm to the face. Sheamus tries the battering ram again, but Swagger moves and locks in The Patriot lock. Sheamus fights out with a kick to the jaw. Swagger charges and knocks Sheamus to the outside.
Swagger charges and hits a big knee to the gut of Sheamus. Swagger now tosses Sheamus back into the ring. Out of nowhere, Sheamus hits his Brogue Kick finisher and gets the 1-2-3. Sheamus wins and advances in the tournament. We head to commercial.

In-Ring Segment: Damien Sandow & Big Show
When we return from commercial, Damien Sandow is in the middle of a rant. Big Show’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Sandow talks over Big Show’s music, saying that he’s not going to finish talking until everyone hears what he has to say. Sandow continues to babble, leading to a Knockout Punch from Big Show. That’s about it for this segment.

Backstage: The Wyatt Family
The Wyatt Family cut-in happens. Bray Wyatt is shown on the big screen whistling. He simply says, “we’re next.” We head to another commercial break.
Promo Segment: The Wyatt Family & John Cena
When we return from commercial, The Wyatt Family make their way to the ring. Wyatt talks about John Cena for a bit and then Cena makes his way out to the top of the stage. Cena is in corny-comedy mode this week, as he introduces photos of Sister Abigail, Bray Wyatt’s mom and daughter. To make a long story short, Cena eventually challenges Wyatt to a steel cage match at the May 4th WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view. Wyatt accepts. He sings “he’s got the whole world in his hands” to close out the segment. We head to commercial.
Santino Marella & Emma vs. Fandango & Layla
After the break, we see Santino Marella and Emma already in the ring. Out next is Fandango and Layla, as Michael Cole reminds us on commentary that Fandango broke up with Summer Rae on Twitter. As they make their way to the ring, we see a pre-taped interview where Fandango talks about breaking up with Summer Rae.
Fandango and Santino start things off for their respective teams. Fandango goes behind and locks in a headlock. Fandango hits the ropes and Santino hits an arm drag. Santino hits his hip toss and pulls out the cobra. Fandango tags in Layla and Emma enters the match. Emma gets whipped into the corner, but Layla misses a splash.
Emma locks in the Dilemma and goes to the middle rope. Santino runs in and knocks Fandango off the apron. Layla pulls Emma off the top rope and pins her. 1-2-3, Fandango and Layla win.

Backstage: Stephanie McMahon & Kane
Backstage, we see Stephanie talking to someone. He tells them that their personal actions are getting out of the way. It turns out she is talking to Kane. Stephanie says she doesn’t want to hear it from him. She says that they thought they hired someone that could fill the position correctly. She says that he failed three times against Daniel Bryan. She calls Kane pathetic, and calls him a shell of what he used to be. She says he used to make women cry with his presence. She asks him what happened to the old Kane. Kane stands up and gets in Stephanie’s face. Kane looks over at his mask inside the case. He opens the case and puts his hand on the mask. He picks the mask up and holds it up. He promises to send D-Bry to the “depths of hell.”
Intercontinental Title Contender Tournament
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Bad News Barrett
Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring for the next match in the WWE Intercontinental Championship number one contender tournament. During his entrance, we head to a commercial break.
When we return from commercial, Bad News Barrett makes his way to the ring. The fans, who popped huge for Ziggler during his entrance, are now solidly behind Barrett, chanting for him repeatedly and popping anytime he gets in some offense. The back-and-forth action ensues, leading to Barrett getting the upper-hand. We head to a mid-match commercial.
After the break, we see Barrett going to work on Ziggler. Out of the blue, we get a random “CM Punk” chant. Ziggler starts firing up on offense, meanwhile, leading to his ten-punch spot in the corner. Ziggler hits and the ropes and goes for the FameAsser, but Barrett reverses and slams Ziggler down to the mat for a near fall.
Barrett goes for a pump-handle slam, but Ziggler reverses and blasts him with the FameAsser out of nowhere. 1-2…No! Barrett kicks out. Ziggler hits a top-rope faceplant on Barrett, which the fans respond by chanting “this is awesome.” Barrett hits The Winds of Change out of nowhere, but Ziggler somehow manages to kick out at two. Barrett goes for the Bull Hammer elbow, but Ziggler avoids it and rolls up Barrett. 1-2…No! Seconds later, Barrett does hit the Bull Hammer elbow. 1-2-3. Barrett wins and advances in the tournament.

After The Match: He’s Afraid He’s Got Some Bad News
After the victory, Barrett gets on the mic and informs us that “he’s afraid he’s got some bad news.” He says standing before all of us is our next WWE Intercontinental Champion. His music hits and he leaves.
The Shield vs. Almost Everyone
The Shield come to the ring. They wait to find out who their opponents are. After a few seconds, the entrances begin. There’s too many to name. In the end, 11 different Superstars make their way to the ring, all of which will be a part of a team that will battle The Shield tonight.
The bell rings and here we go. After some back-and-forth action, most-of-which is dominated by the heel team, the match is thrown out. It ends in what I’m assuming is a “no contest” ruling.

After The Match: Evolution Returns
After the match, the melee continues in the ring until a familiar theme song plays. That’s right children, Evolution is back. Batista, Randy Orton and Triple H make their way to the ring. The guys clear out, leaving The Shield alone to be manhandled by Evolution. The Evolution members hit their finishers on The Shield members, and basically destroy them for a few minutes to close out this week’s RAW.
