Zeb also calls out Torito, saying he assaulted and attacked a United States war veteran in Colter. He’s embarrassed that they have to breathe the same air as these three tonight, and that’s no bull. Colter concludes by asking us to put our hands over our hearts, and in a loud clear voice repeat, “we…the people.” With that said, the match begins.

Out first is the champion, Alberto Del Rio. Out next is the challenger, John Cena, who receives an enormous reaction, and actually a mostly positive one. Still some boo’s mixed in there, but it sounded on television to be around 80/20 in favor of cheers. Lilian Garcia formerly introduces Cena, and then introduces Del Rio in Spanish. Cena goes for Del Rio, and Del Rio drops down with Cena’s arm across his knees. Del Rio tries for the cross arm breaker, but Cena counters into the STF and Del Rio struggles to the ropes. Del Rio makes it to the ropes and Cena is forced to break the hold.
The two exchange a few turns as having the momentum on their side offensively, until another series of submissions and reverals leads to the finish. Del Rio locks in the Cross Armbreaker again on Cena. He takes the padding off of Cena’s arm, which apparently makes the move hurt worse, at least according to the announcers. Cena powers his way out, picking Del Rio up, while still in the Cross Armbreaker. This leads to Cena hitting the Attitude Adjustment on Del Rio. Cena covers Del Rio. Cena gets 1. Cena gets 2. Centa gets 3. We have a new World Heavyweight Champion, Cena’s third time holding this particular title. No cash-in by Damien Sandow either, so it’s official.
