The Wyatt Family come out and Bray Wyatt says all power in this world is measured by how much love you have. Whether you love to bring joy or suffering you cannot deny that love is a delectable experience. It is a ravenous wildfire with beautiful flame and a fine wine. It cannot be defined. You have to live it and feel it. He tells Cena to get the fans to love him and they'll do anything for him. But Cena already knows that and asks how it feels to know that he's lost the fans' love, to know they'd rather see him suffer than see him smile and Wyatt likes Cena's style. Wyatt says this past Monday on Raw, Cena's people were given a choice and the WWE Universe could have given Cena a fair fight but they threw him to the wolves like a piece of meat and they've reached the threshold and it's time Cena stops underestimating Wyatt. Wyatt says thinking of him as just a man is a mistake. Wyatt says he is the nagging conscience of a world that's thrown itself away to mortal monsters and he is everywhere and everything and his words are not just words. His words are razorblades that cut deep and they are working. At Extreme Rules, Wyatt says, he and Cena have a date with destiny inside a steel cage. And how fitting it is they're like a couple of modern day gladiators fighthing for the respect of their people. The steel cage defines Cena's world and everything he stands for and all the blood, sweat and tears he's spent fighting for the WWE Universe has landed him in the steel cage with Wyatt like a snake trapped with a rat in a box and for Cena to remember it was Wyatt who invited him and he hasn't even removed Wyatt's venom. Wyatt says Cena's nightmares have become his dreams come true and in his dreams, Wyatt hears, feels and sees them and one by one they will all follow him. Cesaro then comes out and Heyman says it's no longer a theory or claim but a proven fact that he is the greatest manager in WWE or sports entertainment history. We are back from break and John Cena makes his way out to the ring. Cena takes the mic and says it's been a pretty busy and exhausting week. It started with Wrestlemania 30. And Wrestlemania 30 started with the most iconic moment he's ever seen. Rock, Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin  in the ring together. Cena rhymed off some more Wrestlemania moments from last Sunday night such as Kofi Kingston avoiding elimination, Bray Wyatt unsuccessfully try to turn Cena into a monster, and  the end of The Undertaker's undefeated streak. But on the flipside, The Game got played and we have a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. That was just Wrestlemania, if anyone saw Monday Night Raw however that;s where it really went down. They turned silver into super, believed in The Shield, got some bad news and found out Brock Lesnar is the one. And Cesaro's now a Paul Heyman guy. He then thanks the WWE Universe for re-writing his theme music. They said the future is now and Cena agrees and plugs the new NXT superstars and Diva that have been called up to the main roster and says the future is now and it is an exciting time to be in the WWE as there are so many promising superstars. Cena then makes a promise of his own. He's not the one, The Viper, The Animal, The King Of Swing or The Boss. He is the measuring stick and the standard bearer. He is John Cena and any WWE superstar can talk all they want but past, present or future if they want their feet firmly planted on the top of the WWE mountain they have to go through him to do it. Rowan and Harper appear on the screen and Harper says they say time heals all wounds but unfortunately for Cena he's only given them more time to hurt him and tells Cena to embrace his future. It's Wyatt's gift to him. Wyatt walks in and says sometimes he wishes he could feel pain but he's different and they should all embrace their differences. For instance, if Bray Wyatt lost to Cena at Wrestlemania then why can't he stop smiling? And why does he feel so good? Wyatt says he saw in Cena's eyes and for the first time he realized Cena is not hollow. It's inside of Cena and he knows it all too well because when Wyatt looks inside himself he sees the good, he sees the bad, he sees everything. He sees dreams Cena hasn't dreamed, worlds Cena hasn't discovered, he sees miracles. His mind is endless and he is free. Wyatt says Cena must have been frightened. He was right there and all he needed was one last little push and now he realizes he has to go to new extremes if he wants to bring out the monster that he knows exists inside Cena and tells him to strap it on because this party is far from over.

He says he doesn’t think Randy Orton is laughing and says of all his opponents or possible opponents in Wrestlemania, Stephanie hits harder than them. The suit, the COO of WWE and says Triple H wouldn’t have any of this if he hadn’t married the boss’ daughter. Triple H asks why everyone is so concerned with things they shouldn’t be concerned about and reminds Batista this is the “Reality Era” and in The Reality Era people don’t need to worry about things like that. It doesn’t matter how he got all this power. Batista should just be concerned with the fact that Triple H does have that power and asks Batista why he’s trying so hard to make it personal between them. Batista says he came back with good intentions but Triple H wants to make it personal by saying Batista is living off his past glories and Batista reminds Triple H that some of his past glories include Triple H losing to Batista everytime they’ve competed. It’s a fact that Triple H has never beaten Batista and now he wants to implant himself or Daniel Bryan in the main event at Wrestlemania. The only reason he came back to WWE is to win that World Title and Triple H isn’t going to stop him. Triple H says that’s a fair point. Statistically, he’s never beaten Batista but that was a long time ago when Batista was fresh off of standing by Triple H’s side in Evolution when Triple H turned Batista into the hungry Animal but then Batista’s belly got full. He got success and got soft and lazy and he quit and went to Hollywood and sat in his chair while he watched his stuntman do all the hard work. Then for whatever reason Batista decided to come back but Triple H still hasn’t seen The Animal. He’s shown the world what he can still do a few weeks ago when he beat down Batista and asks Batista when he’s going to show Triple H what he can still do. Triple H says his help has worked out well for Batista in the past and he’s willing to help Batista hone his skills tonight and maybe he can find that hungry Animal because tonight Batista will compete against someone who reminds Triple H a lot of the old Animal. Result » WWE SmackDown! - January 31, 2014 (Des Moines, Iowa)

“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
The Smackdown video plays, and we’re brought into the arena. Michael Cole and JBL welcome us to the show.
Daniel Bryan’s music hits, and he comes out to a tremendous reception from the Des Moines crowd. Cole says, “Welcome to the ‘Yes Movement.’” Bryan stands in the middle of the ring as the entire crowd does a YES chant. Bryan says the crowd is great. Bryan says last Monday on RAW, The Authority said they might make him the Face of the WWE if he could just beat Randy Orton. What The Authority doesn’t understand is that he doesn’t want to be the Face of the WWE. He just wants to be himself. When he beat Randy Orton, The Authority showed their true colors when the Director of Operations, his old friend, Kane interfered in the match and Chokeslammed him to hell. A replay is then shown of the end of the RAW main event. Bryan took out Orton and Kane with a suicide dive before getting out of an RKO and hitting the Running Knee for the win. Kane then attacked him after the match and Chokeslammed him.
Bryan looks disgusted after seeing that footage. Ever since Kane aligned himself with The Authority, he’s stayed out of his way. Bryan has let him do his thing, but not anymore. Not after what happened on Monday. Bryan then calls Kane out so he can understand how his former tag team partner could turn into a Big Red Corporate Sellout who stabs his friends in the back.
Kane’s pyro hits, and he comes out to the stage leisurely in his suit. The crowd boos Kane for a bit before he starts to speak. Bryan cuts him off, and he says he can’t hear Kane from up at the ramp, especially with the crowd being so loud. Another YES Chant breaks out. Bryan tells him to come down to the ring to talk face to face. Kane says that won’t be necessary. On behalf of The Authority, he is here to apologize for his actions on Monday. As the Director of Operations, he is not permitted to engage in physicality with any superstar without provocation. He acted of his own volition. It was unprofessional, improper, and unfitting of someone in a professional office.
Bryan asks what in the hell he is talking about. Bryan means “hell” literally. He is Kane, the Devil’s Favorite Demon. Bryan asks if he remembers his time in Team Hell No. They’ve hugged it out many times live on television. What happened to that Kane? Kane just stares at him. That Kane helped him. That Kane, despite it all, became his friend. The Authority tried to put him in a $1,000 suit, but he told them to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine. He was hoping Kane would have done the same thing, but unfortunately he’s embraced it. Bryan speaks on behalf of the WWE Universe. Bryan tells Kane to take his cheap tie off, get his mask out of that damn office, and get rid of the stupid “Corporate Kane.” Yet another YES Chant breaks out.
Kane says Bryan is right. They do have history, but it’s exactly that: history. Kane has traded in the undisclosed location somewhere in the bowels of the arena for a corner office. Kane couldn’t be happier. He’s glad the Team Hell No days are over. Kane tells Bryan to understand this: they are not friends. The crowd chants, “You sold out!” Kane says they never were friends. A very wise man once said, “In this business, you can make friends or you can make money.” Kane says he’s doing pretty well for himself right now. Bryan says that’s the different priorities for different people. Bryan considers himself to be doing very well right now, but that’s because he has an entire arena full of friends right here. Since Kane doesn’t care about friends, how about he comes down to the ring and they settle this like two men who aren’t friends.
Kane says that isn’t going to happen. However, since Bryan is in the mood for action, he’s more than happy to allow him to compete. As an act of good faith, on behalf of The Authority, he has schedule Bryan in a match which is best for business against a superstar who is also in the Elimination Chamber match: Antonio Cesaro. Kane smiles at him and says, “Good luck, Daniel.” Bryan leads a YES Chant as Kane leaves the stage.
The commentators talk about the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match, which will happen in just a few weeks.
Tonight’s main event will see Randy Orton take on Christian as he runs the “Elimination Chamber gauntlet.”
The Shield’s music hits. They’ll be in action, next.
-Commercial Break-
